Nice interior, Russian style. Two dedicated smoking rooms. Overall area is not too big and one can expect it to be crowded eventually. It\'s in a quiet lane some 20 min walk from Amsterdam Centraal.
Menu: 10
Nice menu of weeds, hash and pre-rolled joints (ranging from 2 to 5 Euros per joint).
Summary
Visited it on Monday, April 23. I took a pre-rolled joint for 5 Euro and could make it till 1/2 only before I became bloody stoned.
Service: 10
Very friendly, staff is always ready to help with advice and will chat with you if you want. If you don\'t - they\'ll leave you alone for as long as you\'d like it.

THe place has several levels so you can get away and relax in the quiet areas.
Menu: 6
The weed I bought was just ok. I heard great things about this place so I thought it would be better. Mahybe a bad day. I am not sure. I had some very basic Widow that was pretty cheap at least.
Summary
I like the out the way location and the place itself is nice. Glass and counters are cool. The weed could be better I think, but i would give them another try cos they have such good reviews from so many others!
Service: 7
the guy was upstairs and talking to a friend so when he had to come down for me he seemed like it was much effort. When he did start talking to me he smiled a bit but he kept it short.

Mostly woodern dutch style interior with a Russian theme. Split across 3 levels with a large drink and food bar and budtender upstairs, a smoking areas and a few seats on the ground floor and more seating and a cool pipe gallery downstairs.
Menu: 7
A small but decent menu. Generally more average strains but fair quality and fair price. They also have a decent selection of hash.
Summary
Average menu but fair priced. A friendly coffeeshop with a lot of locals. A must visit for herbal tea drinkers, as they have a huge selection. The pipe gallery is also worth a look.
Service: 9
Friendly service. Seems to be more of a locals shop that allows tourists aswell. The staff seem more than happy to help you make a selection from their weeds or make you a tea from their huge selection.

Oldest coffeeshop in Amsterdam and you can just feel those vibes of when it all started. Intresting stuff behnd glass windows for sale. Real cool hangout.
Menu: 10
The guy at the counter knew what he was talking about and was real friendly. Everything is relaxed in this place. Had the Super Skunk which was exellent.
Summary
In 1975 this was one of the first coffeeshops to follow the footprints of the legendary Mellow Yellow which all started this culture three years earlier. Rusland (Russia) is named after the street Ruslandstraat (Russiastreet). In the early years they had this slogan "Invade Russia". Here you can taste some true coffeeshop history. Not easy to find if you don't know your way.
Service: 10
Perfect.

Quite comfortable, but mind the wire to the television upstairs (corner seat, you'll know it). Steps a bit steep when stoned & carrying two drinks, so the wife told me.
Menu: 7
Nice Desert Bud, lots of crystals on it and went very nice and crumbly, made you very thirsty, just as well we liked the shakes.
Summary
A little bit off the beaten track but well worth the walk and the milk and yoghurt shakes were great! Nice display of pipes on the way to the loo, according to the wife.
Service: 9
Nice young ladies behind the counter, service good according to the wife, I had to sit down a lot.

Had a nice time hanging out here during the Smokers Guide Friends 2003 Cup in March. We were spawled out over all three levels:) Impressive glassware display and comfortable seating. Easy to converse with friends.
Menu: 9
I had so much gear with me from other shops that I don't think I bought any here. Fellow cuppers seemed to like the menu, with several saying the Santa Maria (weed?) was quite good. Samples (see below) were all quite nice:)
Summary
This was the first time for me in Rusland, but not the last. They were also nice enough to give us lots of free samples from their menu after we presented them with the winning SGF Cup. When you're next in Amsterdam, check the shop out!
Service: 10
The guy who served me my drink was real friendly. We were also given a private tour of their glassblowing area upstairs which was kinda cool.

Nice decor, and plenty of space to sit and relax. The seating would have been rated 10 for comfort had they not put a ledge running round the whole place that dug into my back whilst attempting to lounge.....It is a little dark!
Menu: 9
Was short and sweet....They have AK47 on the menu... I tried some polm, and menali hash. It was priced well, and the hash was very nice. I felt a bit restricted by the skunk menu...but its quality not quantity that counts!
Summary
This is the oldest coffee shop in Amsterdam! The bong they have for personal use is excellent....though you have to push the bowl in hard to get a good seal! This shop is in my top 5!!
Service: 9
The girl behind the bar was very friendly, and they serve some excellent tea's (if only the skunk menu was as exhaustive as the tea menu!). Also serve excellent milkshakes mmmm they were good!

Nice. Russian details and memorabilia, cool selection of glassware downstairs, great place to sit on the ground level by the window, spacious. Really nice place. I seem to remember a cat there, always nice :)
Menu: 9
Quite extensive menu and very nice weed. Not very expensive. The nice dealer will give you recommendations if you ask.
Summary
I liked this place very much and appreciated the effort the staff made to make us feel welcome. The shop itself is very nice as well, you can choose where to sit inside, and, there are tables available outdoors.
Service: 10
Very nice and friendly dealer and bargirl. Her smiles and warm attitude brighten up the place. The dealer was friendly and talkative, and after we told them they won the cup he gave us some very nice samples and took us to see the glassblower's workshop.
